1. Purpose
At Airtek Pakistan, we are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, clients, contractors, visitors, and stakeholders. This Health & Safety Policy outlines our approach to minimizing risks, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all operations, including engineering, installations, project sites, and offices.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All Airtek staff (full-time, part-time, and contractual)
- Project teams and site engineers
- Office personnel and administrative departments
- Subcontractors and suppliers operating on behalf of Airtek
- Visitors to Airtek facilities or project sites
3. Our Commitment
Airtek is committed to:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable national health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices
- Identifying and mitigating hazards in a timely and effective manner
- Promoting a culture of shared responsibility for health and safety
- Providing regular training, information, and resources to enhance safety awareness
- Continuously monitoring, reviewing, and improving safety standards across all departments
4. Responsibilities
Management & Supervisors
- Lead by example in promoting safety-first behavior
- Ensure proper implementation of this policy at all levels
- Provide adequate resources (PPE, training, equipment, etc.)
- Investigate incidents promptly and take corrective action
Employees & Workers
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and instructions
- Report hazards, near misses, or unsafe behavior immediately
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow site-specific protocols
Contractors & Visitors
- Adhere to Airtek’s site-specific safety rules
- Attend induction or briefings before accessing the work area
- Use equipment and machinery only when authorized and trained
5. Risk Management
We implement a systematic approach to identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace risks, including:
- Hazard identification during project planning and execution
- Use of safety signage, physical barriers, and lockout systems
- Periodic workplace inspections and audits
- Emergency response plans and fire safety drills
- First aid kits and trained first-aiders at every location
6. Training & Awareness
Airtek provides regular safety training programs tailored to roles and site conditions, including:
- Site-specific induction for new staff or contractors
- PPE usage and maintenance
- Equipment handling and electrical safety
- Working at height and confined space protocols
- Fire safety and evacuation drills
- Health hygiene and COVID-19 workplace precautions (if applicable)
7. Workplace Health
We recognize that safety goes hand-in-hand with employee well-being. Therefore, we support:
- Ergonomic office and field setups
- Mental health awareness and stress management
- Reasonable working hours and safe shift planning
- Clean drinking water, sanitation, and ventilation
8. Incident Reporting & Investigation
All incidents (accidents, injuries, property damage, near misses) must be reported immediately. Airtek follows a structured investigation process to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.

- Conducting regular health and safety reviews

This Health & Safety Policy will be reviewed annually or after a major incident, regulatory update, or organizational change.
